April 1930 issue (Vol. 1, No. 7) of Overtones, a publication of The Curtis Institute of Music. Three articles, "Something New Under the Sun", "Off for Florida - and Campanology" by Alexander McCurdy, Jr., and "My First Acquaintance with Campanology" by Robert Cato discuss the relationship between the Curtis Institute and Bok Tower Gardens (then called Mountain Lake Sanctuary and Singing Tower) and Mr. McCurdy and Mr. Cato's experience as students being taught to play the carillon by Mr. Anton Brees. The pages of this issue have been removed their original binding. The library holds the complete issue, while only the articles related to Bok Tower Gardens and the carillon have been made available here in a digital format.
