This is an image of the Singing Tower at Mountain Lake Sanctuary (now Bok Tower Gardens) from one of the Sanctuary's paths. The photographer is facing south west. Work on the sixth level and bell chamber of the Singing Tower is nearing completion. At the base of the Tower is a shed, likely housing a winch used during construction, and smoke can be seen rising from the engine. The date is an estimate based on other negatives in the collection as well as historical documentation. This negative is included in a set of three books which include Mr. Burrell's photographic documentation of the construction of the Singing Tower.
