This is an image of the Reflection Pool north of the Singing Tower at Mountain Lake Sanctuary (now Bok Tower Gardens) with the steel frame of the Singing Tower in the background. Work on the fourth level of the Singing Tower is nearing completion. Several construction workers can be seen. At the base of the Tower is a shed, likely housing a winch used during construction. The pool was expanded from the original Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr. design to better reflect the completed Tower. The date is an estimate based on other negatives in the collection as well as historical documentation. This negative is included in a set of three books which include Mr. Burrell's photographic documentation of the construction of the Singing Tower.
