This photo shows the initial stages of frame construction of the Singing Tower at Mountain Lake Sanctuary (now Bok Tower Gardens). It appears that the first level is complete and work on the second level has begun. A pile of rock is visible in the foreground of the image which may be rubble from excavation or materials for construction. Construction workers are visible on the top of the structure as well as one at the base. Two sheds are visible in the background, one likely housing a winch and the other used for construction offices. The date is an estimate based on other negatives in this collection and historical documentation. This negative is included in a set of three books which include Mr. Burrell's photographic documentation of the construction of the Singing Tower.
