The tower at the First United Methodist Church has a 144 feet tall tower that houses an electric-keyboard chime of 16 bells. The chime was begun in 1926 with 10 bells cast by the Meneely Bell Company Foundry (Troy, New York, US). The chime has since been enlarged several times with bells cast by Eijsbouts Bell Foundry (Asten, Holland, NL). In 1989, the chime was enlarged to 11 bells, in 1990 to 12 bells, in 1991 to 15 bells, and in 1999 to 16 bells.
