The community of Carillon Beach has a carillon of 35 bells that is housed in a 50 feet tall free-standing tower. The tower and instrument were designed by Richard M. Watson, of Meeks, Watson, and Company (Georgetown, Ohio, US) and installed in 1993. The bells were cast by Petit and Fritsen Bell Foundry (Aarle-Rixtel, Holland, NL) and were installed by the I. T. Verdin Company (Cincinnati, Ohio, US). The carillon was electric-automatic, but the manual action was removed in 2007. The carillon is owned by the Carillon Beach Institute.
