The World War II Memorial Carillon is located on the campus of the University of Kansas. The tower stands at 120 feet high and houses a traditional carillon of 53 bells. The bells were cast by Taylor Bell Foundry (Loughborough, England, GB). The carillon, tower, and memorial driveway are all part of the University’s World War II Memorial, which honors all of the veterans of World War II, especially the 276 University of Kansas alumni who lost their lives, whose names are inscribed on the tower.
