This image shows a pile of stone which may be debris from foundation construction or raw materials for construction of the Singing Tower at Mountain Lake Sanctuary (now Bok Tower Gardens). The wall in the background is likely one of the sheds used during the construction. 'F.W. Buttersworth' appears on the right side of the negative. It is unclear who Butterworth was, but he may have been the F.W. Butterworth of Illinois who was a well-known brickmaker. Date of photograph is based on its arrangement with other negatives. This negative is included in a set of three books which include Mr. Burrell's photographic documentation of the construction of the Singing Tower.
