This image shows the initial stages of the piles being driven for the foundation of the Singing Tower at Mountain Lake Sanctuary (now Bok Tower Gardens). The 160 pilings were driven over two weeks in February 1927. '2-14-27-S[?]' appears on the left side of the negative. Construction equipment is visible in the image. This negative is included in a set of three books which include Mr. Burrell's photographic documentation of the construction of the Singing Tower.
