This is a letter from Edward W. Bok, the former editor of Ladies' Home Journal and the founder of the Mountain Lake Sanctuary and Singing Tower (now Bok Tower Gardens), to Major Harry M. Nornabell, then director of the Sanctuary. Mr. Bok is responding to Major Nornabell's weekly report dated 21 June 1929 (CBTG000234) and directly addresses the issue of the Mediterranean Fruit Fly infestation as well as weddings in the Sanctuary. The paper is very thin and most likely a carbon copy of the original letter. The letter is unsigned. Major Nornabell's middle initial also appears to be mistakenly typed as 'N.'
